About Our Concrete Company in Buena Park

We pour driveways, patios, slabs and walkways for homeowners, and we treat the rest of your property as part of the job. That means covering what could get splashed, containing our washout and leaving the yard swept before the truck pulls away each day.

How We Run a Concrete Job

We have been in business 15+ years, and our company is licensed by the California State License Board (CSLB). Over that time we have learned that most of what people remember about a concrete job is not the pour itself. It is whether the lawn got torn up, whether the stucco has gray spatter on it and whether the street gutter is full of slurry afterward.

So we plan the mess before we make it. Before demolition, we lay plywood runways over grass and planters where the wheelbarrows and breaker will travel. We tape plastic sheeting along stucco, siding and garage doors near the forms, because fresh concrete splashes when it is screeded and bull-floated, and dried cement paste is hard to remove from textured walls. Old concrete and soil leave the site in a hauling bin or truck, not in a pile by the curb.

The slab itself gets the same care. We compact the base in lifts so it does not settle under the new concrete. Rebar or wire is raised on chairs or dobies before the pour, which keeps the steel buried within the concrete where it can carry tension, rather than lying flat on the soil. Control joints are cut at a spacing that gives shrinkage cracks a planned place to form. Then we cure the slab properly, since concrete that dries out too fast in the sun loses surface strength and starts to dust.

What You Can Expect From Us

  • Protection goes down first

Plywood paths, plastic sheeting and taped edges go in before any breaking or digging starts. Sprinkler heads near the work are flagged so nobody drives over them.

  • Washout stays contained

Tools and chutes are rinsed into a lined washout area, not onto your lawn or into the storm drain. The hardened residue is hauled off with the rest of our debris.

  • A clean site every evening

At the end of each work day we sweep hardscape, pick up form stakes and nails, and secure open trenches. You should be able to walk your yard safely between our visits.

  • Work we stand behind

Our work comes with a 1-year warranty. If something we installed is not right within that time, call us and we will come look at it.

Where We Work

We are based in Buena Park and take on projects across the surrounding area, including La Palma, Fullerton, Cypress, Cerritos, La Mirada, Norwalk, La Habra, South Whittier, Stanton and Artesia. Many homes here have original driveways and patios that are ready to be replaced, and our crews plan access, demolition and haul-off around tight side yards and shared driveways.

If you are unsure whether your street is in our area, ask when you call. The Service Areas page lists the towns we visit most.
